Real Club de Golf de Las Palmas Par 71
18-hole course, located about 60 minutes by car from Cho Manuel Residence
Gran Canaria enjoys the distinction of housing the oldest golf club in Spain. It was already inaugurated in December 1891. It is situated close to the extinct Bandama volcano with a diameter of 800 m and a depth of 200 m. This is a testimony to the volcanic origen of Gran Canaria some 14 million years ago. The course has wonderful views of spectacular, deep ravines. Designed by Mackenzie Ross, it is a 71 par, 18-hole course with 2 putting greens, (1x floodlit), practice tee, pitching green, instructors, pro-shop, club hire service, a restaurant with an excellent wine cellar.
